Experiences
There are various experiences on offer; both at the park and at the lodge. It is advisable to book vehicle safaris in advance, while those like the night safari, walking safari and elephant bath viewing can be requested upon arrival too.
Apart from the park activities, there are numerous unique and engaging experiences curated at the lodge. Depending upon interest, guests can opt for an active excursion like bicycle rides, guided walks on inhouse trail, gardening or choose to play pool at the recreation room, lounge with a book in the library or laze on the pool side deck watching the kingfishers and other birds.
Park Activities
Kanha Tiger Reserve offers several activities to visitors to help them truly explore and learn about the wonderful wildlife. The Park has 4 tourism zones – Mukki, Kanha, Kisli & Sarhi. Saccharum Safari Lodge is located close to the Mukki gate. Guests staying at our lodge will usually be able to explore Kanha & Kisli, as both these zones can be accessed by entry though the Mukki Gate.
If visiting Kanha zone, do remember to take a quick look at the Kanha Museum to learn about Conservation practices along with animals.
Lodge Activities:
The lodge has a variety of experiences both complementary or curated on request; allowing guests to slow down the pace yet make the most of their time in the jungle. For those looking for solitude, the ‘Machan’, is a great place to be alone and listen to bird song or a quiet snooze in the dappled shade.
