A truly special place run by exceptional people For once I feel I am without words to truly describe the lodge & the experience. Nowhere else in India have I returned with such a satisfying, multi-dimensional safari experience. We went as a large family group and each one of us was blown away by the setting, the service, the cottages, the food, the guiding & the hosting. Wasim and his team are so humble & they have a pulse on the needs & expectations of their guests. No matter what you ask for- be it with food preferences, or safari bookings, or room service, they are keen to oblige & please, and will get things done without much ado. Chef was great- dished out delicious multi cuisine menus at every meal, the locally trained naturalists Madhuri & Supriya were knowledgable and enthusiastic, & Wasim is passionate about the jungle, the wildlife & his lodge. Loved picking his brain about forest stories & experiences in the wild. The setting of the lodge is to die for, right at the edge of the buffer zone where animals have the right of way. Seems like you are staying inside the jungle but with all modern amenities & comforts. If you are a jungle lover & wildlife buff then make a beeline for Saccharum. Its one of the places you don’t feel like leaving, and want to visit again & again… Thanks Wasim & Ratna, will definitely be back, soon!!

You just have to stay here!!!! Huge thanks to Wasim, Ratna, Dessuh & the team at Saccharum for an incredible & most memorable stay. The set up was magical, food was out of this world & rooms were very well presented. Wasim & Ratna made me feel as though I was part of the family. Set in the heart of the buffer zone, you are never too far away from the alarm calls from deer, birds tweeting or macaque jumping around. Wasim & Ratna are hugely proud & very passionate naturists. They have an amazing vision for what they want to create and I cant wait to visit again to see & hear about their wonderful adventures. Thank you for an amazing stay, the cake, the food, the lifelong memories. Good luck, you deserve nothing more than the best Sanj x

Simply the best ! Anything I’ve expressed - you can multiply 10x. That’s how good our stay at the Saccharum Safari Lodge in Kanha was !! The lodge is true to the forest reserve in the landscaping & rustic architecture. It’s on the edge of the buffer zone of the forest reserve. The rooms are warm in design, comfortable & air conditioned; they blend into the landscape seamlessly. What stood out is the outstanding hospitality of Wasim & Ratna, along with their entire team. They made you feel so special & welcome, they were so attentive to our needs and tastes. Every aspect of the stay from planning the safari, to the wake up calls, the welcome back after each trip, & the meals was brilliantly executed. The cuisine is simply delicious - you are guaranteed to over indulge. Wasim & Ratan’s passion as naturalists made the whole experience 100% memorable and cannot be compared to a safari stay in a chain hotel. The 3 day stay is one of our best travel experiences. We Will definitely be going back !!

Heavenly Stay & home like staff! The resort is tucked amidst the buffer area (outside the core jungle) and gives you an immersive wildlife living experience. The staff here is hands down the best crew I’ve ever seen. The owner of the resort, Mr.Wasim is so humble and well learned about the Kanha forest! He personally looks after your stay and is up for a chat anytime! It was lovely speaking with him and learning about his journey. By far, the best property I’ve booked - clean, feels luxurious and is within the budget. The chef here will cook his heart out and serve you some scrumptious delicacies. It’s chef’s kiss! Don’t hesistate booking this one, I’ve already recommended Saccharum to so many of my friends and family!

Fantastic Stay at Saccharum Safari Lodge! A beautiful 55 acre forest property bordering the Kanha National Park. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean. The food was excellent, varied with seasonal fresh produce being used. The kids were happy with Chinese, Mexican, Continental and Indian dishes. Kudos to the chef for well planned meals in the middle of a jungle! The staff are very helpful, polite and happy to engage in conversations about your safari (everyone who comes back from one wants to share their stories) or show you around the property. Our safaris were arranged by the lodge and we had skilful drivers every time. Overall it was a great stay and we look forward to going back again soon.

A stay highly recommended for nature lovers! We stayed at Saccharum Safaris for 7 nights with our 8 year old son. The stay was nothing short of mesmerising. Set amidst 55 acres of wild forest , the property makes you feel as if you are inside the core. It was not uncommon for us to routinely see langurs, the resident barking deer and a large number of bird species. The Machan and the river deck are especially great spots to spend your time in between safaris. The entire staff made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. A special shout out to Wasim and Ratna - for going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay; and the Chef for putting in a lot of thought and effort in the menu and food. Not only did we have different dishes each and every day, but they were all meticulously executed too. Our son found the expanse of the place liberating, and was constantly entertained with the variety of wildlife species around. We will definitely be back!

I feel proud & privileged while writing this review on our memorable visit to KTR and highly commendable stay experience at Saccharum Resorts. It was an excellent, very well organised and comfortable stay in the midst of beautiful jungle which gave a realistic feeling of being in jungles. The natural ambience is mind blowing and cant be explained in words. The hospitality efforts by entire fraternity of the resort was highly appreciated by my family including kids. Special thanks to the humble Chef who was wholeheartedly devoted to food choice of every guest. Nothing more can be asked what we received there. It was terrific experience being there and we carried memories to cherish forever. I strongly recommend that every nature enthusiast must visit this resort. “’Visited with family in Feb 2020. Clean, good food, bucket load of butterflies.. Good site team from Akshendra, Madhuri, Deepak, Hemraj. One can do birding right in the place. We saw golden backed Maratha woodpecker, racket tailed drongo, grey hornbill sitting at the lunch table..’’

Set against the sanctuary, this resort is incredibly organized for nature lovers and is a great place to de-stress and chill in a perfectly Sylvan setting. Wasim is a remarkable host and his knowledge about the flora and fauna helped make good the treks and safaris. The staff is exceptionally hospitable with consideration for our privacy. Food was out of the world. The chef is equally at ease with world cuisine and spun dishes on the table with great finesse. All in all, a great place for a vacation in the wild

Wasim and his excellent team and a super chef A Chouhan ensured that the entire stay was comfortable and interesting. The trips to the Safari, the walk, the swimming pool experience, the tribal dance, the friendly and honest staff made our stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. The ex-army officers and their wives Golden SODE thoroughly enjoyed the stay
