Lodge Activities:

In-house Nature Trail

Saccharum Safari Lodge has an approximately 2 kilometer long walking trail that meanders through the 55-acre property.

The trail runs past the boundary with the tiger reserve, past dense Sal thickets, a large grassland and our own little lake. It is a most popular activity with children and adults alike.

Recreation Room

A designate recreation room is equipped with a pool table and numerous board games for an afternoon or evening of bonding the old-fashioned way.

A small Jungle Gym outside the Recreation Room is designed for young children to monkey around in.

Bicycle Rides

There are a few bicycles that guests can use to explore the property on or go for a spin outside.

Special Dining Experiences

The lodge is happy to organize meals at unique locations for alfresco dining or special private romantic dinners with a loved one.

Secret Recipes from the Chef’s cookbook

Book an interactive cooking demonstration where our Head Chef unravels the secrets of delicious but off beat recipes from his prized cook book.

As an added bonus, learn about the grains & ingredients used by the ancient Baiga and Gond tribes that live in the area.

Green Thumb

Working with the earth is therapeutic. Guests can unwind with a bit of gardening at our organic kitchen gardens.

Village Visit

The hamlets around the lodge are a delight, with their mud houses and ancient farming techniques that can still be witnessed.

Baiga Folk Dance

Watch a troupe of dancers from the ancient Baiga tribe swing to the beat of drums. The rhythm is catchy and most guests do join in and shake a leg.
